Overview
We are looking for a full-time, Junior Structural Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. If you're a talented, self-motivated, hard working professional, who is interested in a Structural Engineering career, we'd love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for assisting with project design and analysis, preparing design drawings, performing calculations, and coordinating with project team members to deliver quality projects on time and within budget. You will have access to the latest design software, and will get hands-on site and special inspection experience.

Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for:
- Assist with design drawings, construction specifications, reports and other project deliverables
- Perform structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel and other materials
- Perform building assessments and prepare reports
- Gather and record information to be used for writing construction specifications
- Coordinate with other disciplines including architectural, civil, geotechnical, and MEP
- Coordinate efforts with clients for new and existing projects
- Assist with construction administrative tasks
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing approximately 50 pounds or more
- Ability to climb onto roofs, ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Qualifications
- BS or MS (preferred) in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of experience
- Successful completion of FE exam , and professional goal to pursue PE/SE license within a defined timeframe
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software
- Experience with structural analysis software including but not limited to RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, STADD Pro, and RAM Concept, and Tekla Tedds
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) principles
- Ability to perform structural calculations, develop detailed design, and analyze load conditions
- Strong attention to detail in design, calculations, and report preparation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills
